WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Retrieve data from various sources including databases and spreadsheets; organize and format raw data into structured formats.
- Create auto-updating data marts for BI dashboards.
- Support and troubleshoot predefined data source templates used for visualization purposes.
- Take part in the development and maintenance of self-service analytics tools using BI platforms such as ClicData and Looker Studio.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, troubleshoot, and deliver timely solutions.
- Support data validation and quality assurance efforts to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Document reporting processes to promote transparency and knowledge sharing.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Advanced understanding of spreadsheets (Excel and/or Google Sheets) and familiarity with presentation and BI tools.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google BigQuery).
- Experience with BI platforms (ClicData, Looker Studio).
- Hands-on experience with Python and Pandas
- Familiarity with ELT/ETL concepts and basic data pipeline workflows.
- Prior experience in a data-driven business environment.
- Previous internship or hands-on experience in a business analytics or BI role.
