WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Strategy & Media Planning

  • Digital Strategy Ownership: Lead end-to-end digital media strategies and budget allocation across Search, Social, Programmatic and other key channels to drive performance.
  • Audience & Market Insights: Build data-driven consumer profiles and translate industry trends into executive-ready recommendations.
  • Growth & Innovation: Identify expansion opportunities across accounts and introduce forward-thinking solutions and best practices.
  • New Business Leadership: Serve as a strategic lead on pitches, shaping proposals aligned with client goals.

Client Partnership & Storytelling

  • Strategic Client Counsel: Build trusted relationships, aligning media strategy with business objectives.
  • Performance Storytelling: Turn complex campaign data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Case Studies & Optimization: Evaluate past performance to inform future strategy and highlight impact.
  • Account Oversight: Maintain overall account health through prioritization, leadership and sound decision-making.

Internal Collaboration

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Client Service and MPO to ensure seamless execution.
  • Strategic Enablement: Share POVs, develop educational materials and support team growth.
  • Problem Solving & Oversight: Proactively resolve campaign challenges and guide the Planning team to deliver insight-led, scalable strategies aligned with business goals.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Business-oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to drive account growth, influence revenue outcomes and make decisions that support long-term client partnerships.
  • The Experience: 6+ years of experience in strategic media planning or digital planning within an advertising agency, and/or experience in client-facing roles, such as account management or client service.
  • Digital Mastery: A deep, hands-on understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including proficiency in DV360, TheTradeDesk, Amazon, Meta, Google Ads, and other various programmatic DSPs.
  • Strategic Intuition: The ability to manage large volumes of data and translate it into powerful insights and persuasive storytelling.
  • The "Partner" Mindset: A proactive, eager attitude with the ability to handle a varied workload and thrive under occasional time pressure.
  • Technical Literacy: High proficiency in Google Suite and modern project management tools; you are someone who is always "two steps ahead."
  • Collaborative Spirit: A natural curiosity and the ability to work effectively as part of a high-functioning team, challenging the status quo to deliver beyond conventional standards.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing strategy and planning teams.

STEPS OF THE SELECTION PROCESS:

  • Screening Interview (30 minutes) – An initial conversation with a recruiter to learn more about your background and experience.
  • Hiring Manager Interview (up to 45 minutes) – A conversation with a key team member you’ll work closely with to discuss collaboration and role expectations.
  • Test Assignment (5 days) – A practical task designed to evaluate your strategic and technical skills.
  • Strategy Team Interview (up to 45 minutes) – A discussion with the Head of Strategy, including a presentation of your completed assignment.
  • VP Interview (up to 45 minutes) – A conversation with the company’s VP to discuss client approach, strategic thinking and alignment on expectations.
  • Interview with Founder (up to 45 minutes) – A conversation with Stephen to align on expectations, team fit and long-term collaboration.
  • Offer – If successful, you’ll receive an offer to join our team.
